A business database is only as trustworthy as the person who builds it. This page explains who operates the website, what the Florida database contains today, how we work with data, and what we deliberately do not do.

Operator

flfirms.com is operated by Martin Adamec, a sole proprietor based in the European Union: Mírová 1541, 516 01 Rychnov nad Kněžnou, Czech Republic. Czech business ID (IČO) 19552319, listed in the Czech Trade Register since . The operator has no office in the United States. Prices are quoted in USD.

You can check these details in the public Czech business register: record of business ID 19552319 in ARES. Full identification is on the page Company details.

The data and the website are handled by one person. Your email is answered by the person who actually prepares the data. We would rather say openly what is missing than promise completeness we cannot document.

What we offer today

  • Florida Business Database – one-time exports for 15 industries and 67 counties. Our Florida database contains 3,818,676 active entities as of October 15, 2026. Per-industry record counts and prices are set per request. See the industries · Data status
  • Other U.S. states and the European Union – for example Texas, California, New York or Georgia, or countries of the EU: compiled on request; we hold no dataset of our own for these markets and publish no counts of our own for them. Official market size figures (U.S. Census Bureau, Eurostat) are on the pages for Texas, California, New York, Georgia and the European Union. Send a request

How the Florida data is built

  1. Public records. Name, entity type, document number, status, filing date and principal address from the corporate filings of the Florida Division of Corporations.
  2. License records. Where an industry is licensed by the state, license type and status from the public records of the licensing agency.
  3. Public contact details. Phone number, general email address and website from the companies' own websites.
  4. Matching and cleaning. Contact details are attached to a record only when identifying features match; formats are standardized and duplicates removed.
  5. Classification. Each record gets an industry, a NAICS code where one can be derived, and a county based on its address.

Details, source links and limits are on the page Data sources and methodology.

How you can verify us

The operator's record is in the Czech business register ARES under business ID 19552319. You can test the layout of an export with the sample file (fictitious rows). Before you order, we send the number of records after filters and the as-of date of the data. Errors in the data can be reported to info@flfirms.com. How a one-time export compares with other providers is shown in the comparison of business data providers.

What we do not do

  • We do not buy old lists. We work from public records and public sources, not from resold contact lists of unclear origin.
  • We do not sell consumer data. The data is business-to-business only: companies, sole proprietors and institutions.
  • We do not sell consent. An export contains no opt-in of any kind. Our data is not screened against any do-not-call list, including the National Do Not Call Registry and the Florida Do Not Call list. How Fla. Stat. § 501.059(4) applies to business records that include phone numbers is a question for an attorney, and no Florida dataset with phone numbers will be released until that question is resolved.
  • We do not promise complete accuracy. Public records contain errors, and contact details go out of date. We state the as-of date and the coverage, and we correct errors that are reported to us.
  • We do not do your legal review. As a buyer, you are responsible for your own use of the data under the CAN-SPAM Act, the TCPA rules, the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act and any other law that applies to you.

Why European privacy law applies here

Because the operator is established in the EU, the General Data Protection Regulation applies to our processing of personal data “regardless of whether the processing takes place in the Union or not” (GDPR, Art. 3(1)). Data about legal entities is not personal data, but data about sole proprietors and named officers is. If you are such a person, you can object to the processing at any time on the page Remove my data; details are in the data notice.
