Florida industry export
The export covers healthcare providers and personal care businesses registered in Florida, defined by NAICS 2022 (62, 8121). For scale: 534,975 businesses in Florida per the U.S. Census Bureau, County Business Patterns 2023 + Nonemployer Statistics 2024: 87,196 with employees in 2023 and 447,779 without employees in 2024; that is official statistics. Our Florida database is active, but per-industry record counts are still being compiled. Name the kind of provider (for example dental practices, home health agencies or salons) and the counties; we will reply with what we can deliver.

Data as of October 15, 2026. Industry size: U.S. Census Bureau, County Business Patterns 2023 + Nonemployer Statistics 2024: businesses with paid employees (CBP 2023, establishments, NAICS 2017 codes 62, 8121) plus businesses without paid employees (NES 2024, NAICS 2022 codes 62, 8121); not our dataset. Statewide figure for all industries: Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations, Yearly Statistics, as of July 8, 2026; not our dataset. NAICS titles: 62 Health Care and Social Assistance; 8121 Personal Care Services (U.S. Census Bureau).
The industry combines NAICS sector 62, Health Care and Social Assistance (offices of physicians, dentists and other practitioners, outpatient care centers, laboratories, home health care, hospitals, nursing and residential care, social assistance), with NAICS industry group 8121, Personal Care Services (barber shops, beauty and nail salons, spas).
The planned export is a list of businesses: practices, clinics, agencies and salons as registered entities. It is not a list of individual practitioners and contains no patient-related information of any kind.
A small practice may be organized as a professional association (P.A.) owned by the practitioner. Its record names an individual, so it contains personal data under the European privacy law that binds us, and that individual can object to our processing of it.
Our expectation, which is an assumption and not a finding from data: We expect practices and salons to publish a phone number for appointments, which reaches a front desk rather than a decision maker, and we expect published email addresses to be less common for medical practices. Per-industry contact counts are still being compiled; once measured, they will replace this note.
We are looking for dental practices and outpatient clinics in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties with a phone number, to offer them medical waste collection. Individual practitioners without a registered practice should not be included. Please state what you can deliver, the price and the as-of date of the data.
This is an example only, not a promise of a record count.
Official statistics
The figures below show the sector and its largest parts by number of businesses, with and without paid employees. The sector total also includes social assistance, such as child day care services. Among businesses without employees, home health care services (6216) and personal care services such as hair and nail salons (8121) are especially numerous.
Miami-Dade (127,320), Broward (64,479), Palm Beach (46,666), Hillsborough (34,568), Orange (32,736). Figures for all 67 counties are in the table Florida businesses by county.
Sources: U.S. Census Bureau, County Business Patterns 2023; U.S. Census Bureau, Nonemployer Statistics 2024 (methodology). Each row adds establishments with paid employees (County Business Patterns 2023, NAICS 2017) and businesses without paid employees (Nonemployer Statistics 2024, NAICS 2022, which leaves out businesses with less than $1,000 in receipts except in construction). These are Census Bureau statistics, not counts from our dataset.
Individual practitioners (physicians, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, chiropractors, massage therapists and others) are licensed by the Florida Department of Health through its Division of Medical Quality Assurance (Fla. Stat. § 20.43). Licenses can be verified in the department's license verification.
Hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, home health agencies and other providers listed in Fla. Stat. § 408.802 are licensed by the Agency for Health Care Administration.
Some businesses need a permit of their own from the Department of Health in addition to the licenses of the people who work there: a permit is required to operate a community pharmacy (Fla. Stat. § 465.018), and no massage establishment may operate without a license (Fla. Stat. § 480.043).
Cosmetologists are licensed through the DBPR (Board of Cosmetology, Fla. Stat. § 477.015), barbers through the Barbers' Board (Fla. Stat. § 476.054).

FAQ
No. It is planned as a list of businesses. Individual licenses can be verified with the Department of Health.
It can. Rules specific to health care may apply in addition to the general email and telephone rules described on this website, and we do not cover them. If you market to healthcare providers, have your campaign reviewed by an attorney who knows the sector. We do not provide legal advice.
That is the plan: by NAICS code 8121 Personal Care Services, without the healthcare sector.
That is the plan: assisted living belongs to NAICS 6233, home health care to 6216. Both are facility types licensed by the Agency for Health Care Administration, which is a planned additional source where a license can be matched to a business.
No. Veterinary services are NAICS 541940 and belong to Professional and Business Services.
The size of the industry in Florida is 534,975 businesses in Florida per the U.S. Census Bureau, County Business Patterns 2023 + Nonemployer Statistics 2024: 87,196 with employees in 2023 and 447,779 without employees in 2024 (source); that is the official market scale, not a count of our delivered records. Our per-industry record count is still being compiled; contact us for the current count for Healthcare and Wellness. For orientation: Active business entities registered with the Florida Division of Corporations (corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and trusts) – 4,129,182 as of July 8, 2026 (Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations, Yearly Statistics). That figure covers all industries and counts registered entities whether or not they operate. The Census figures on this page give a sense of scale for Healthcare and Wellness.
Federal law does not require prior consent for commercial email to businesses, but every message must comply with the CAN-SPAM Act (FTC compliance guide); sales calls and texts are restricted more tightly by federal rules and by Fla. Stat. § 501.059. An export contains no consent. Our data is not screened against any do-not-call list, including the National Do Not Call Registry and the Florida Do Not Call list. How Fla. Stat. § 501.059(4) applies to business records that include phone numbers is a question for an attorney, and no Florida dataset with phone numbers will be released until that question is resolved. The compliance of a campaign is your responsibility. The rules are explained in Cold outreach rules in Florida; this is not legal advice.
From public sources: corporate filings of the Florida Division of Corporations (Sunbiz), the license and registration records named on this page and the companies' own websites (sources and methodology). The file is a UTF-8 CSV or, on request, XLSX or JSON; a sample with fictitious businesses shows the 15 columns.
Name the kind of provider and the counties. We will reply with what we can deliver, the price and the as-of date of the data.
